I love a good facial steam and I know it’s easily one of my client’s favorite parts of the treatment when they come to see me. I’m sure all of you estheticians can agree! If you’re looking to uplevel the experience for your client, then you’ve come to the right place. I’m going to be dropping the ultimate 3 steps for a perfect steam. It’s super easy to follow and there’s a secret ingredient involved that’ll really take your facial steam to the NEXT level.

What’s that secret? Glow herbal steam. This is an herbal steam that I intentionally blended made from a mix of organic herbs and flowers for antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals with added soothing, grounding, and citrusy aromatherapy that benefits directly through your professional-grade steamer. Everyone knows I am obsessed with my Katana Steamer from Skinact, which has an herbal basket... but I was looking for the perfect herbal blend. That's when Madison and Keele reached out to make our own! 

Before we dive into the 3 steps to the perfect steam, let me give you a quick back-story on My Friends Use This. 

The skincare line is founded by Madison and Keele. They started the company out of need when they were recently out of college and looking for a skincare line that was clean, affordable, and didn’t require them to buy a million different products. After searching around, they found nothing. Until they realized they were the answer all along. Keele, with her degree in Biology and Madison with her degree in Agricultural and Environmental Plant Science, decided to take on the challenge of formulating a skincare line to fit everyone’s needs and budget. After completing multiple courses in botanical skincare and formulation, My Friends Use This was born!

Let’s jump into the 3 steps for the perfect steam!

Step #1: Prep. 

Add 2-3 scoops of Glow herbal steam into an eco-friendly bag.

Step #2: Place.

Put the herbal bag into the herb catch in a steamer. (If you don’t have one, you can put the herbs directly into the water jar. The water will turn brown, but that’s okay.) 

Step #3 Power.

Power up the steamer and let your client enjoy the aroma and skin benefits while you begin their facial.
