My 5 Health & Wellness Go-Tos

My 5 Health & Wellness Go-Tos

As estheticians - our job is to help our clients feel & look amazing! But, what about ourselves?

For YEARS, I didn’t take care of my body or mind. Eventually, I became sick of feeling like crap so I started to make changes to my daily routine.

Toe Stretchers

These have been a game-changer for me. Especially because I’m on my feet all of the time! I like using these, they come in a few different color options. If you’ve been experiencing any pain or discomfort, I highly recommend grabbing these. They are also great for posture!

Acupressure Mat

I am all about taking time to relax and de-stress, this acupressure mat is one of my favorite ways to do that. You can take a few minutes out of your day to lay back on this mat and it will help massage pressure points. I’ve also noticed it has helped increase my energy and reduce my muscle tension!

Ear Seeds

I love acupressure and anything holistic - this holistic treatment originated in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Ear seeds are adhesives that you apply to specific acupressure points on your ear and they help address symptoms you may be feeling emotionally or physically. I recommend these super cute Swarovski crystal ones!

Eucalyptus Shower Mist

You can never go wrong with a eucalyptus steam shower - it smells AMAZING. Turn on the hot water in your shower and as it starts to get steamy, do a few sprays of this and enjoy your very own at-home spa aromatherapy. It’s a great way to relax at the end of the day.

LED Light Therapy

We do this for our clients, so why not use it on ourselves? I love using Cellume LED light therapy and I always feel rejuvenated after doing this. Make sure you’re prioritizing your own skin health too!

I hope these tips help you look after your mental and physical wellbeing - remember to fill your own cup up too.
